We do this by doing a extensive consultation, digging in to history, asking specific questions about developmental history, about specific stressors now, and through development – physical, chemical, and/or emotional – that may have impacted the individual and the efficiency of the developing brain.
Then we have a really targeted and specific and comprehensive clinical exam. That includes things like heart rate variability, paraspinal and spinal thermography, surface electromyography, and things like primitive reflex assessment, gross motor assessment, fine motor eye movements, visual cognitive testing.
When we use these tools, we can have a better understanding of why an individual may be having the challenges that they’re having and specifically what we can do to help by creating a comprehensive approach. We are not just looking to treat a symptom.
We do all of this, but we start by just having a complimentary consultation because we know what we do is a bit different. We want to make sure that we can help and that you’re in the right place. If you’re interested in that, make sure to jump in and have a free consult with one of our FOCUS™ coaches or myself. We’ll talk you through what we think we can do to help, or if we need to get you with one of our other professional partners in the community that might be able to help.
